Legislation
The ASCC is not a regulatory authority and
does not make or enforce laws. OHS in Australia is state-based and OHS
regulation is the responsibility of the state and territory governments.
All ASCC national standards and codes of practice are guidance and advisory
documents. State and territory governments implement the standards and codes of
practice through their legal systems.
