Statistics
The ASCC
collects data from workers' compensation schemes for the National Data Set
(NDS). The NDS is the only uniform data collection of compensation-based
statistics in Australia.
The ASCC also collects data on notified fatalities and produces a monthly report
to all members.
The ASCC collects data for the purposes of providing a more comprehensive
overview on OHS areas including:

effective prevention of workplace injury and disease (OHS),
-
consistent, cost effective compensation (premium rates, liabilities,
benefits), and
-
effective injury management (return to work).
